Uniform and Camping Gear Donation Program

Please consider donating those Scout Shirts that are too small now or camping gear you no longer need or use to the Troop's Uniform and Camping Gear Donation Program.
Who: The goal of this program is to grow Scouting and improve the Scouting experience for all boys by making sure they have the necessary uniform and equipment they need.
What: Please clean out your closets and storage areas by donating these gently used items:
  • Scout Shirts and other uniform items such as pants, socks, and hats
  • Camping gear such as packs, boots, sleeping bags, mess kits, and items
Where: Bring your items to donate to the box at the Scout Meetings or let Mr. Vance (952 210-8743) or Mr. Ostroot know what you would like to donate.
When: The donation program will start immediately. All gear going to any boys will be given on an anonymous basis by our Scoutmaster Mr. Ostroot. If our supply of gear exceeds the demand within the troop we will make donations to other troops within the council who have greater needs. Donation receipts will be available for tax purposes.
Why: Let's help make sure every boy who wants to be in Scouting can be. We can also can clean out the gear taking up space for another boy to use.
